Laser Cutting

What is laser cutting?

Laser cutting is process of cutting material using a laser beam. It works by directing the output of a high-power laser through a series of optics. This process is controlled by a CNC which calibrate and directs the laser using a pattern or design. Using a laser means that the cut is not only accurate but creates a smooth finish.

A laser cutting machine can also be used to engrave or etch a design into different materials. Creating detailed products or fabrication markers to aid the next stage of the production process.

Lasers can cut/etch or engrave a wide range of materials and thickness.

Capacity

Our CNC fibre laser cutting machines can produce one-off pieces, short runs and large quantities of parts. The advantage of laser cutting is speed which means we can offer fast turn around times at competitive prices nationwide.

Experience

We have over 25 years of experience. We supply a wide range of industries including automotive, agricultural, shop fitting, manufacturing and medical. Working with wide range of metals included mild steel, stainless steel and galvanised.

Quality

We have established and implemented a formal Quality System that is subject to regular scrutiny, audit and approval. As a result, our factory provides high standards of manufacturing.
